A FLS Energy crew installs solar thermal panels atop the roof of the Kanuga Lake Inn as part of a system that will heat water for the building’s kitchen, laundry and 62 guest rooms. FLS Energy is partnering with Kanuga to install 131 panels on 11 buildings across Kanuga’s 1,400-acre campus, a project that will provide hot water for much of the nonprofit retreat center. Funded through an innovative financial structure, the project is the largest of its kind in North Carolina.
