Communications Project Manager
The communications department is responsible for nurturing and extending a strong, consistent Kanuga brand while disseminating information in support of Kanuga’s marketing, sales, human resources and governance work. Mountain Trail Outdoor School
Mountain Trail Outdoor School offers day, multi-day or weeklong programs to school groups, youth groups, clubs, businesses, and other organizations. MTOS’s curriculum combines natural science study, community building activities, and opportunities for participants to increase their self confidence through adventure based activities.
Guest Services Support Staff
Guest Services Support Staff are responsible for hospitality, meeting room set up, social events, airport and other transportation needs, worship services and other guest supportive tasks. Persons interested in hospitality are encouraged to apply. Internships are welcome and a valid driver’s license is required.- Summer Employment
Camp Bob
Each January, Camp Bob begins accepting applications for the summer season (approximately late May to early August). The summer begins with a week and a half of staff training, a time where staff are taught all the necessary skills to work with campers effectively. This time is followed by 10 weeks of fast-paced camping sessions. Take a look at the available positions.
Camp Kanuga
Camp Kanuga is a traditional Christian summer camp for boys and girls, ages 7-15. Activities include backpacking, hiking, canoeing, swimming, adventure course, climbing tower, rock climbing, creative dramatics, art, music and much more! Counselors must be 18 years old and Junior Counselors must be 17. Experience working with children and in the outdoors preferred. Salary; room and board; bonus upon completion.
Summer Staff
Every summer Kanuga hires a temporary staff – young people mostly and a few adults. It is possible to work from May through September; most positions are for the summer months. Staff are housed in separate men’s and women’s dormitories and receive room and board as part of their pay. There are many opportunities.
